In trauma care, every second counts - and every link in the care journey matters.

As one of Singapore’s largest trauma centres, TTSH Trauma Centre manages complex trauma cases while shaping how trauma care is delivered across the system. From the point of injury to emergency care, surgery, intensive care, rehabilitation and recovery, trauma care takes an entire team working seamlessly together.

With the opening of Singapore’s first dedicated civilian Trauma Training & Research Centre, we are taking this work a step further. The Centre brings training, education, and research under one roof — creating a shared space for clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, pre-hospital teams and partners to learn, practise, innovate and prepare for evolving trauma care needs.

Through programmes such as the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (DSTC) and more, TTSH continues to build capability across the trauma care fraternity in Singapore and beyond.

The new Centre strengthens our ability to scale these efforts, support multidisciplinary collaboration, and prepare teams for the critical moments where readiness makes all the difference.

Because trauma care is not built in silos. It is built through people, partnerships, and preparation - today, for tomorrow.
