Rehabilitation is often associated with physiotherapy and occupational therapy, but recovery is supported by a wider multidisciplinary team. In our rehabilitation wards, inpatient acupuncturists work alongside doctors, nurses and therapists to support patients on their recovery journey. For some patients who choose to incorporate acupuncture into their care, it can complement their rehabilitation plan and support their participation in therapy. 😌

With growing research and evidence informing its use, acupuncture is becoming increasingly integrated into healthcare settings as a complementary rehabilitation modality. 🤩
