Course Description

Developed by The Society of Critical Care Medicine®, the Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) course provides healthcare professionals, including non-intensivists, with the training to manage critically ill patients for the first 24 hours or until appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. The course focuses on adult critical care but also includes separate sections on critical care for pregnancy and paediatrics.

Target Audience

Healthcare professionals from Emergency, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine and Critical Care who manage critically ill or injured patients during the first 24 hours of care.

Course Policy​

Registration is only confirmed after course payment.

Any cancellation must be notified to the organiser in writing. 10% administrative levy will apply to any course refunds. A 50% partial refund will be issued if the enrolment is cancelled between 3 and 6 weeks prior to the scheduled course date. No refund will be given if a course enrolment is cancelled within 3 weeks of the scheduled course date.

Course is subject to a minimum participant number before course commencement. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the course should unforeseen circumstances necessitate it. Course organiser accepts no responsibilities for covering airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by the registrant.​​
