​Overview

We provide diagnostic evaluation, operative management and therapy in the management of diseases of the ear, nose, throat and the head and neck region.

We are complemented by a full-fledged audiology division with diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing capabilities.

We perform stroboscopic examination on the larynx for voice disorders, real time digital recording of endoscopic procedures and microscopic examination of the ear. Investigations like audiological evaluation, skin prick testing, sleep study and speech assessments are also available.

• Head and Neck Cancer Clinic

  Head and Cancer Clinic provides oncological surveillance and conformity in cancer management. ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialists screen patients before referral to this clinic.

• Nose Clinic

  The Nose Clinic sees patients with complicated nose problems such as recurrent nasal polyps and failed sinus surgery. It is affiliated with the Allergy Clinic run by allergists from the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialists screen patients before referral to this clinic.

• ​Facial Plastic Clinic

  The Facial Plastic Clinic is led by an ENT consultant who has been trained exclusively in facial plastic and head and neck surgery. The clinic deals with all aspects of facial deformity, due to congenital, trauma, poor facial scar, and diseases related facial problems. We deal with poor results and complications associated with previous facial cosmetic surgery. The clinic also deals with the aging face using various rejuvenation procedures, and facial skin lesions as well as lumps and bumps.​

• Voice Clinic

  Voice Clinic led by ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) Consultants and a Speech Therapist to provide management for patients with voice disorders such as hoarseness of voice or difficult voice problems, who would benefit from the combined expertise. Direct referrals are accepted.

• ​Sleep Apnoea Clinic

  The Sleep Apnoea Clinic is run by a multidisciplinary team of specialists that provides solutions for patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea problems. In this subspecialty clinic, we strive to provide a holistic approach to the patients' problems exploring both surgical and non-surgical options. ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialists screen patients before referral to this clinic.

• Speech and Language Therapy
  ENT Speech Therapists specialize in managing patients with voice disorders .and speech &/or swallowing difficulties following head& neck diseases/surgeries.

   

  ​​We assess voice production using the Computerized Speech Lab, a specialized computer programme. Therapy involves teaching patients exercises to mobilize their vocal folds in a more efficient manner in order to repair micro injury, as well as to learn good voice projection techniques. For swallowing problems, patients are assessed in clinic. Further instrumental procedures, such as Videofluoroscopy or Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), may be carried out as appropriate. Therapy involves teaching patients maneouvers to facilitate safe swallowing, or exercises to strengthen their oropharyngeal muscles. Voice restoration using voice prostheses & electrolarynges are carried out for patients who have undergone total laryngectomy. Referrals are accepted from ENT specialists only.

  The Joint Occupational Deafness Clinic is run by a Senior ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) Consultant and a doctor from the Department of Industrial Health, Ministry of Manpower. It aims to provide a more holistic approach to the diagnosis and management of persons afflicted with occupational hearing problems. Direct referrals are accepted.
