Collection Instructions:
For investigations involving red blood cells.

Submit 1 pink top tube, 2 light green top tubes AND urine.

For blood collection:
1. Draw sufficient blood into 1 pink top tube and 2 light green top tubes.
2. Gently invert the tubes 8 - 10 times.

For urine collection:
1. Collect random urine in sterile screw-capped container.
2. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.

Complete "Transfusion Reaction Investigation (POST I)" before proceeding with this order.
