1. Specimen should be sent to laboratory before first despatch.
2. Call laboratory for despatch timing.
3. Draw sufficient blood into lavender top tube.
4. Gently invert the tube for 8 - 10 times.
5. Send specimen to the laboratory as soon as possible.
