Collection Instructions:
1. Collect stool in a sterile screw capped container with attached spatula.
2. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.

Unacceptable Conditions:
Stool mixed with urine or preservatives.

Remarks:
1. Stool specimens should be sent prior to treatment or more than 4 weeks after completion / discontinuation of therapy involving antimicrobials, proton pump inhibitors and bismuth preparations.
2. Stool in transport media, on swabs, or mixed in urine or preservatives are not appropriate for testing and will be rejected.
3. The laboratory has not evaluated TECHLAB H. PYLORI QUIK CHEK for use in paediatric samples.
