Collection Instructions:
Submit one of the following: Blood, bone marrow aspirate OR Cerebrospinal fluid
For blood collection:
1. Draw sufficient blood into lavender top tube.
2. Gently invert the tube 8 - 10 times.
3. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.
For bone marrow aspirate collection:
1. Collect bone marrow aspirate in lavender top tube.
2. Gently invert the tube 8 - 10 times.
3. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.
For Cerebrospinal fluid collection:
1. Collect cerebrospinal fluid into a sterile scre capped container.
2. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.
