Indicate whether CSF is drawn from a lumbar or ventricular puncture or a shunt.
1. Collect 1-2 mL CSF in a sterile screw-capped container.
2. Test does not include CSF glucose and total protein. Order separately and collect additional 2 mL CSF in a sterile screw-capped container.
3. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.
