Book porter in EPIC
Select 'Round -Trip' for collection and return of cryoglobulin incubator.
Turn on the cryoglobulin incubator. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach the target temperature of 37oC.
Verify that the cryoglobulin incubator's temperature is 37oC. If it not, turn off and turn on the incubator. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach the target temperature of 37oC.
Pre-warmed the required blood tubes and keep at 37oC for at least 10 minutes.
Collect the blood specimens in pre-warmed blood tubes.
Place all blood specimens in the cryoglobulin incubators.
Clean the incubators if there is any blood spots.
Hand over the cryoglobulin incubator containing specimen to porter.
Inform Specimen Reception section that cryoglobulin incubator have been collected by porter.
