About The NCID Gallery

The NCID Gallery was officially launched by Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies on Tuesday, 7 September 2021, in conjunction with NCID's second anniversary. At the gallery, you can expect an immersive experience with the addition of AR features.

Zone 1: NCID organisation and facility

Start the gallery tour by learning about the DNA of NCID through its Mission, Vision and Core Values. Here, you will also learn about the work of the respective units of NCID and key facilities in our state-of-the-art building.

Zone 2: History of infectious diseases timeline

Did you know that the roots of NCID can be traced back to the Communicable Disease Centre (CDC) and Middleton Hospital? Visit the History of Infectious Diseases Timeline and learn about the key milestones Singapore has witnessed in tackling infectious diseases for over one century and how Middleton Hospital, CDC and NCID have managed them.

Zone 3: Public Education Wall

From the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) to Tuberculosis (TB) and Emerging Infectious Diseases (EIDs) and antimicrobial resistance, the public education wall covers current infectious diseases and the role of the community in preventing infections. Zone 4: Courage in Action – Photo exhibition on NCID's response to COVID-19

From 7 September 2021 to 6 March 2022, visit the photo exhibition which showcases the raw moments of NCID's response to the COVID-19 pandemic here in Singapore. From the patient journey to diagnostic testing and surveillance, research milestones, staff training, outreach to the community and stories from NCID staff, you are guaranteed to have an enriching takeaway!
