- Youth Advocacy: Empowering young people as Singapore’s future-ready public health ambassadors.
3. International Collaborations
We extend our network across NHG and globally to support regional outbreak preparedness and institutional exchanges.
- Regional Ties: Strengthening ASEAN-level and bilateral collaborations through training and staff attachments.

- Resource Hub: Serving as a global training center, with a focus on supporting Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

NCID Academy brings together a diverse range of programmes and partnerships to advance education, professional development and knowledge exchange in infectious diseases. Through collaborations with healthcare professionals, academic institutions, schools, industry and international partners, the Academy offers learning opportunities that build capabilities, foster innovation and strengthen health systems locally and globally.
From professional training and community engagement to international collaborations and digital learning platforms, these programmes support the development of a skilled and connected workforce equipped to respond to emerging infectious disease challenges.

As part of the NHG Academic Health System, National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) strengthens Singapore's healthcare resilience through its signature annual symposium and critical frontline training initiatives.
The annual NCID Symposium brings together thought leaders in infectious disease management and serves as an annual forum held every September to commemorate the NCID Anniversary.
NCID clinical leaders have also contributed to pandemic readiness by providing intensive Singapore Field Epidemiology Training Programme Tier-1 and Tier-2 training to public health professionals. These experts translate their frontline outbreak experience into academic instruction to build Singapore's epidemiology capabilities.
