The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Woodlands Health offers a full spectrum of services across Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery and provide a range of conservative and surgical treatment options.
TTSH General Surgery
The mission of the department is to advance surgical care, education and research in the Central Region of Singapore and beyond. We achieve this by providing a comprehensive spectrum of services, tailored towards accurate and timely diagnosis with management of all general surgical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A drive towards minimally invasive surgery has resulted in a shorter length of stay for patients, smaller surgical incisions, reduction in morbidity and complications, and overall improvement in surgical outcomes. This has allowed an increasing proportion of surgical procedures to be performed in our ambulatory surgery centre where suitable patients are not required to be admitted to the hospital following their operation and can be discharged on the same day or after a short overnight stay.
NHG Polyclinics Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy sessions incorporate both physical exercise and/or manual therapy to facilitate maximum recovery. Our aim is to resume functionality and movement. Our main treatment goals are to provide pain relief, restoration of normal function and strength, prevention of further injury and promotion of an active lifestyle.
KTPH Dental Surgery
Our team of specialists and general dentists provide a comprehensive range of dental services ranging from corrective and restorative surgery to management and treatment of infections and injuries. Being part of the hospital, we are able to cater to the dental needs of the elderly and patients with medical conditions that require special preparation or additional care.
