Singapore Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network

The Singapore Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network (SCRN) was established in 2013 and is funded by the Ministry of Health with the aim of conducting multi-centre clinical studies. SCRN is hosted by the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and is a network of physicians at all of Singapore's public hospitals who conduct clinical research related to infectious diseases.

We collaborate with primary care providers, academia, industry and international partners with the aim of conducting high quality research. SCRN also works closely with the Programme for Research in Epidemic Preparedness and Response (PREPARE) to ensure the network is ready and capable of conducting clinical research in response to an infectious disease threat. We support young and junior investigators in their journey to develop experience and expertise in clinical and collaborative infectious disease research.
