Obstructive sleep apnoea is a common sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep, leading to poor sleep quality and increased risk of conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and excessive daytime sleepiness.
We provide specialised assessment and management of adult sleep-related breathing disorders, with a focus on obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Care is led by an ENT surgeon with subspecialty training in sleep medicine and sleep surgery.
Our service adopts an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach, with treatment individualised according to disease severity, airway anatomy, and patient needs.
Services provided:
- Comprehensive clinical assessment
- Evaluation of snoring, daytime sleepiness, and all other sleep symptoms
- Upper airway examination, including nasal and throat assessment
Sleep study interpretation
- Review and interpretation of in-laboratory and home sleep studies
- Severity grading and risk stratification of obstructive sleep apnoea
For more information on the preparation for Sleep Study Test, refer to the Patient Information Sheet.
- Non-surgical management of OSA
