Recovery
• You may experience transient pain or discomfort, including headache which typically resolves in a matter of hours
• Treatment related discomfort typically resolves within 24 hours
• Most patients return to normal activity the same day
• You may experience temporary increased congestion which may last a few days
• Most patients begin to see improvement between two to six weeks post treatment
Post procedure instructions
• Over-the-counter analgesics
• Nasal saline rinse
• Avoid blowing your nose for the first week
Emergency Advice
• Small amount of blood stains in the saliva/spit secretions are expected
• First aid measures for nasal bleeding/epistaxis: pinching the soft part of the nose & gargling ice water continuously for 15 mins
• In the event of profuse bleeding (e.g. persistent ooze/clots from nose or mouth) that does not stop with first aid measures, please proceed to the nearest emergency department or available healthcare provider
