RFP Results

Suppliers are to submit their information in response to our Open RFI / ITQ / RFP via the same channel of enquiry (like Ariba, e-Procurement System or unless otherwise stated). Documents are provided free of charge to participating suppliers. Late submissions will not be accepted. Notification shall be sent to all awarded supplier(s).

There are three general types of requests:

1) Request for Information (RFI)

A RFI is a standard business process used to collect written information regarding the capabilities of various suppliers or to validate new or potential business models / approaches.
It is generally used to gather market information about products or services.
An RFI may or may not lead to activation of an ITQ / RFP.

2) Invitation to Quote (ITQ)

ITQ is the simplest of all procurement tools that is commonly deployed. It can take the form of an Open or Close ITQ and is mainly used for relatively low value purchases (up to $100K).
It is geared towards obtaining a quotation for a defined scope of work or supply of materials or equipment.

3) Request for Proposal (RFP)

RFP can take the form of an Open or Close RFP where the total value of purchase exceeds $100K.
The scope of work is typically more openly written to facilitate the supplier to provide the proposals or suggestions to meets User Requirement as well as value-added options to minimally meet the desired outcome of the sourcing event.

National Skin Centre (NSC) uses the electronic sourcing platform, Ariba, e-Procurement System to conduct our open RFIs, ITQs and RFPs unless otherwise stated.​ ​Suppliers may search and access the list of Sourcing Events published in Ariba Discovery.

The scheduled closing date for submission of responses to any sourcing event (ITQ/RFP/RFI/Tender) will be stated on the information package for the respective events.

All submissions must be received through the stipulated channels (indicated in the information package) by the specified time and date.
