National Skin Centre Health Fund (NSCHF)
The National Skin Centre Health Fund (NSCHF) was registered as a Charity under the Singapore Charities Act, Chapter 37 on 20 August 2020. The NSCHF was established to receive donations towards the pursuit of medical research and development, improvement to health services in Singapore, and to provide funded care to patients determined to be in need of financial assistance. NSCHF took over the funds and activities from National Skin Centre Health Endowment Fund in May 2021. The Fund is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and is valid until 29 September 2027.

The National Skin Centre Health Fund was established on May 2021 to receive donations towards the pursuit of medical research and development, improvement to health services in Singapore, and to provide funded care to patients determined to be in need of financial assistance.
(1) Tattoo Removal Financial Assistance Scheme for Youths-at-Risk
The Fund provides financial assistance to youths-at-risk who are motivated to remove their tattoos so that they can continue their academic pursuits and be re-integrated into the community.
(2) Skin Aid for the Vulnerable and Elderly (SALVE)
This programme supports expenditures for patients with chronic relapsing skin diseases who can be supported clinically and socially with regular application of topical medications, to reduce the incidence of preventable re-admissions into acute care hospitals.
(3) Medication Assistance Scheme
The Fund assists eligible patients who are prescribed with medications for off-label indications to enhance their care, availing new treatment options for them.
(4) Financial Assistance for Retail Items for Eczema Patients
The Fund provides financial assistance to needy patients diagnosed with eczema who were prescribed with retail items for their treatment and not supported by Medifund.
(5) NSC Suu Balm Itch Programme – Donation to NKF
The Fund purchases Suu Balm and Aqueous Cream as donations-in-kind for National Kidney Foundation (NKF) patients undergoing Renal Dialysis. This programme aims to help renal patients in the community seek relief from their chronic itchy skin condition.
(6) Badminton Camp for Eczema Children
The Fund organises badminton camps for children with eczema, promoting and encouraging active living among children with this skin condition.
(7) Patient Welfare Fund
The Fund provides financial assistance to needy patients covering transport costs, retail items and non-standard drugs that may not be covered by other schemes.
(8) Research Grants
NSCHF supports the medical research and development related to dermatology. Some ongoing projects include:

(9) Severe Acne Vulgaris Treatment for Youth
The Fund provides financial assistance to young patients suffering from severe acne vulgaris.
(10) Port-wine Stains Removal
The Fund provides financial assistance to patients with port-wine stains condition who are unable to afford the costly laser treatment.
