Our Volunteer Recognition Framework celebrates volunteers at key milestones throughout their volunteering journey.

🌱 Bloom Together | Welcome Email | Successfully onboard as a WHCF volunteer and begin volunteering. |
Email acknowledgement | Complete <40 volunteer hours to receive an Email Acknowledgement (upon request). | |
☀️ Shine Together
| Letter of Acknowledgement | Complete 40 volunteer hours to receive a Letter of Acknowledgement (upon request). |
Volunteer Pass | Complete at least 9 months of regular volunteering to qualify for the Volunteer Pass. | |
🌳 Grow Together | Long Service Certificate | Reach long service milestones of 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 years. Award recipients and volunteers with outstanding annual hour contributions are also invited to the Volunteers' Appreciation Day. |
🤝 Lead Together | Invitation to Volunteers' Retreat | Be appointed as a key volunteer leader or nominated as a volunteer representative. |
⭐ Celebrate Together | Rising Star Award | Awarded to outstanding new volunteers in recognition of their exceptional volunteer hour contributions and overall commitment during the recognition period. |
Shining Star Award | Awarded to outstanding existing volunteers in recognition of their exceptional volunteer hour contributions and overall commitment during the recognition period. | |
External Award Nominations | Volunteers may be considered for nomination to local or national awards in recognition of exceptional commitment, sustained impact, exemplary leadership or significant contributions.
Nominations are made at WHCF's discretion and are subject to the eligibility requirements of the respective award.

The recognition moments above celebrate different forms of contribution rather than a hierarchy. Volunteers may receive different forms of recognition at different stages of their volunteering journey.
WHCF may review the recognition criteria from time to time to keep the Volunteer Recognition Framework relevant and meaningful for our volunteer community.
