Asst Prof Rafael Saclolo is a Senior Consultant practicing Emergency Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree in 1998 and Doctor of Medicine in 2003 from the University of the Philippines-Manila. He obtained his Membership to the College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM, UK) in 2010 and completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine (Singapore) in 2013. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Asst Prof Rafael has a special interest in emergency ultrasound, having done a Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA. He obtained his certification for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Abdomen in 2016.

He is a Clinical Assistant Professor (Asst Prof) at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. He is a Core Clinical Faculty member of NHG Emergency Medicine Residency Programme.
