Dr Lee Chiao-Hao has served in the Emergency Department at Tan Tock Seng Hospital for over 12 years. He began his training at the National Taiwan University Hospital Emergency Department, where he completed his residency from 2006 to 2010 and obtained specialist certification in Emergency Medicine in Taiwan. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a consultant in the Emergency Department at National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch. In 2013, he joined Tan Tock Seng Hospital and underwent Emergency Medicine residency training from 2013 to 2017. He was accredited as a specialist in Emergency Medicine by the Specialists Accreditation Board, Singapore, in 2018 and appointed as Associate Consultant, before being promoted to Consultant in 2020. That same year, he also attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (UK).
Dr Lee is actively involved in the research, development, and training of Emergency Medicine ultrasound. He pioneered the application of lung ultrasound as a clinical tool to assess respiratory dynamics in patients with respiratory distress. His ongoing work focuses on advancing lung ultrasound techniques and mentoring junior Emergency physicians to publish research in this area.
