Biodata

Adj A/Prof Kenneth Heng is a Senior Consultant emergency physician. He was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (A&E) in 2001. He has received training stints at The Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre, Melbourne, Australia in 2002 and the Injury Research Centre, Medical College of Wisconsin, USA in 2005 (HMDP award). He completed the Masters in Health Professions Education (Massachusetts General Hospital, USA) in 2013 (HMDP award).

Adj A/Prof Heng’s current academic appointments are Adjunct Associate Professor of LKC and YLL Schools of Medicine. His post-graduate academic contributions include being the founding Programme Director of the NHG Emergency Medicine Residency Programme, where he still serves as a core faculty, training many generations of emergency physicians. He is currently on the Residents’ Advisory Committee, Chairman of the EMCC Curriculum Committee and MMed (Emergency Medicine) Part C lead.

Adj A/Prof Heng is an ATLS educator and instructor; BCLS and ACLS instructor and instructor trainer. He has garnered several education awards and has over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
