Dr Chiu is a Senior Consultant Emergency Physician. Her clinical interests include acute trauma care and she completed a fellowship in Emergency and Acute Trauma Care at St. Michael's Hospital and Sunny brook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Masters in Health Care Management and is also a trained Improvement Advisor. She has contributed and led several quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in the Emergency Department and hospital, with a focus on building reliable systems and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
