Dr Ang Joo Shiang is an Emergency Physician with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2009 and completed his Emergency Medicine residency training with NHG in 2017.

Dr Ang has a strong interest in point-of-care ultrasound and is actively involved in supporting its clinical use and teaching both within the department and externally. He completed his clinical training in emergency ultrasound at National Taiwan University Hospital and has contributed to several of the department’s ultrasound-related initiatives. In addition to his clinical work, he assists with IT-related administrative matters, helping to ensure smooth digital workflows and operational processes. He remains committed to advancing the thoughtful and effective use of ultrasound in emergency medicine.
