Biodata

Adj Asst Prof Ang Hou completed his undergraduate studies in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeon in Edinburg for A&E in 2005. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine in 2008 and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He was also completed the postgraduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2010. He was awarded a Ministry of Health (MOH) Scholarship to pursue his Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) in Sydney and Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia in 2011 for Geriatric Emergency Medicine.

Adj Asst Prof Ang was the immediate former Head of Department for Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Emergency Department from 2018-2024. He currently serves as the Divisional Chairman of Ambulatory and Diagnostic Medicine in TTSH and the Clinical Governance Officer for TTSH’s Emergency Ambulance Services. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor (Adj Asst Prof) in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Yong Yoo Lin School of Medicine. He is also involved a Faculty Member of NHG Health’s Emergency Medicine Residency Programme.

Adj Asst Prof Ang’s clinical interests are in Emergency Medicine and in Geriatric Emergency Medicine.
