Dr Teong is a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). She has completed advanced specialist training in Internal Medicine under the Joint Commission on Specialist Training of Singapore following her ​qualification of Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).

In addition to her clinical duties, she is a dedicated educator for both the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She now serves as Clinical Lead for General Medicine at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, driven by her passion for medical education and commitment to fostering the development of future healthcare professionals.​
