After obtaining his medical degree, Dr Gohar had a specialist training in internal medicine. He gained exeprtise working in the department of internal medicine taking care of patients with various acute and chronic medical issues. He is passionate and a firm believer in treating patients with a holistic care in mind.

Dr Gohar has a clinical interest in venous thromboembolic cases, and his passion brought him to pursue a fellowship training in adult thrombosis in Canada from 2022 to 2023 . Dr Gohar started a pilot phase of PERT(Pulmonary embolism response team) in the Hospital which helps in dealing with various complicated cases of Pulmonary embolism.

He also did his improvement quality project on method of screening for risk of venous thromboembolism among admitted patients successfully and will be implemented to the whole hospital soon.
