A/Prof Pek Wee Yang is a Senior Consultant in the Department of General Medicine at KTPH. He is also the Deputy CEO (Policy and Programmes ) at the Communicable Diseases Agency of Singapore. He is an accredited specialist in respiratory medicine, critical care medicine, and advance internal medicine. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) , Royal College of Physician of Edinburgh( UK), and the American College of Chest Physicians.A/Prof Pek's sub-speciality interests include asthma, respiratory allergy and immunology, pulmonary physiology and tuberculosis. A/Prof Pek holds several teaching appointments. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as, NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical duties, A/Prof Pek serves as Chairman of the JCST Examination Committee for Respiratory Medicine (Exit Examination) and an PACES examiner with MRCPUK.
