Our Services
We provide assessments for patients who present with symptoms such as persistent cough, difficulty in breathing, panting, wheezing, coughing up blood. We also manage patients with sleep disorders.
Lung Diseases
We are able to investigate, diagnose and treat the whole spectrum of lung diseases such as:
- Asthma and airway allergy
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Pneumonia
- Pleural effusion and other pleural diseases
- Primary and secondary lung cancer
- Tuberculosis
- Bronchiectasis
- Interstitial lung diseases
We also manage patients with sleep disorders such as:
- Obstructive sleep apnoea
- Chronic hypoventilation
- Parasomnias
- REM sleep Behaviour disorders
Investigations
Our investigative capability includes:
- Bronchoscopy including advanced bronchoscopy such as
- Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and transbronchial nodal aspiration (TBNA)
- Transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB)
- Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and bronchial biopsy
- Thoracoscopy
- Full lung function testing including spirometry
- Lung volumes and diffusion capacity
- Methacholine challenge test
- Exercise Induced Asthma Testing and FENO
- Overnight polysomnography and CPAP titration

- Home sleep study
- Radiological examinations such as CT scan, MRI and ultrasound/CT guided aspiration or biopsy of effusions or tumours
Intensive Care Unit
We also manage critically ill patients in the Intensive care unit (ICU), providing intensive haemodynamic, respiratory monitoring, treatment with inotropic support and mechanical ventilation. We also run the Non Invasive Ventilation Unit designated for patients needing acute or long term NIV support for respiratory failure.
