Dr Koay is a Respiratory Physician with special clinical interests in Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopy, Lung Cancer, Pleural Disease and Intensive Care.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nottingham School of Medicine in 2014 and received Membership of the Royal College of Physicians United Kingdom in 2017.

Dr Koay trained in Internal Medicine and underwent specialty training in Respiratory Medicine at the NHG Health (Singapore). He completed both the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Respiratory Medicine and the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (HERMES) in 2023. He obtained his specialist board accreditation in Respiratory Medicine in 2024.
