Dr Choo Xin Yi graduated from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2018. She completed the NHG Health General Surgery Residency Programme, obtained her Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 2023 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2025.

Dr Choo's clinical interests include upper gastrointestinal surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, and acute surgical emergencies.

Dr Choo serves as a clinical Tutor with both the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
