Our after-school gardening and nutritious meal preparation course challenges students to become “producers” by learning how to grow edibles and prepare nutritious dishes from their own garden harvest.

 

The course is filled with highly engaging activities to foster strong bonds among peers, teachers and  other adults from the community.

 

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

 

Programme structure
2 Tier-Programme: Basic & Advance
Duration 7 x 90 min sessions (once per week) during term time
Target Audience Primary school children
Synopsis 2 sessions of gardening,1 learning journey, 3 sessions of cooking and 1finale/showcase session
Basic vs Advance Level of difficulty in planting and complexity of recipes involved
Developed by Doctors, Dietitians and Curriculum Specialists
Application in different settings Home,supermarket,school canteen, eateries etc
