NHG Health Programmes and Services for GPs
NHG Health offers a comprehensive suite of programmes, services and enablers designed to strengthen our collaboration with General Practitioner (GP) partners. Our aim is to enhance the quality and continuity of care for our residents by anchoring care in the community.
Together, we're committed to adding years of healthy life to our residents.
GPFirst encourages patients with mild to moderate medical conditions to visit their GPs first, rather than going directly to the Emergency Department (ED).
By visiting a GP first, patients receive timely medical treatment for their condition. This approach enables our EDs to focus on more urgent cases requiring medical attention. Under GPFirst, patients will receive a $50 subsidy off the prevailing ED attendance fee when they are referred to Public Healthcare Institution (PHI) EDs by participating GPs.
For more information or enquiries, we invite you to contact your dedicated Relationship Manager or reach us at pophealth.pco@nhghealth.com.sg.

We partner with General Practitioners (GPs) to enhance the care continuity for stable patients transitioning from our hospitals’ Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOC), Emergency Department, Inpatient services, and to GP clinics. We aim to provide BRIDGE partners with a comprehensive support ecosystem that enables them to anchor patients’ care in the community.

NHG Health’s Virtual Professional Consult (VPC) platform connects GPs directly with hospital specialists to provide clinical guidance for GPs to better manage their patients. Supported by the Coordinating Advisory Care Team (CoACT), this strengthens collaboration between primary and secondary care whilst enhancing patient outcomes and professional development opportunities.
