Postgraduate Year 1 Training

Post-graduate year 1 (PGY1) programme is the training year after the completion of basic medical education. It is a prerequisite for medical doctors to become eligible for medical registration or before embarking on medical residency training.

PGY1 trainees will be exposed to the breadth and depth of clinical cases and specialties, and equipped with the necessary clinical and non-technical skills preparing you for future unsupervised independent clinical practice. Our experienced and dedicated clinicians will also guide you through an enriching learning experience with effective supervision and mentoring, and a supportive environment for your development as future doctors.
