Infectious Diseases is a specialty focusing on the treatment and prevention of infection in the immunocompetent and immunocompromised host. As well as promoting the health of communities and populations through the implementation of evidence-based public health interventions. Through the 3-year Residency Programme, residents are trained to deliver expert advice and treatment in the management of a wide range of infections across a variety of patient populations.
