Dr Wong En Shen Daniel is a Senior Consultant Radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he specialises in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He currently serves as Core Faculty for the NHG Diagnostic Radiology Residency and holds the position of Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Dr Wong's clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of vascular and interventional procedures, including angioplasties and stenting, thrombolysis, embolisations for acute haemorrhage and tumours, aortic stent-graft repairs, and hepatobiliary interventions. His expertise extends to gastro-intestinal procedures such as oesophageal stenting and feeding tube placements, urological interventions including nephrostomies and ureteric procedures, and radio-frequency ablation of various tumours. He has particular experience in managing trauma cases and complex vascular conditions requiring minimally invasive treatment approaches.

Dr Wong's previous leadership roles include Headship of Vascular and Interventional Radiology from 1997 to 2010; and Directorship of the NHG Radiology Residency Programme from 2010 to 2022.

Dr Wong graduated with his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1985 and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 1992, followed by Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1998. He completed advanced training fellowships in Australia at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in 1995, and in Canada at Vancouver General Hospital and University of Columbia Medical Centre, Vancouver in 2005.

Dr Wong has received numerous awards including the NHG Education Leader's Award, Distinguished Senior Clinician Award, and multiple service excellence recognitions. His academic contributions include over 20 peer-reviewed publications and extensive involvement in professional organisations and medical education.

Dr Wong believes in providing comprehensive, minimally invasive treatment options that prioritise patient outcomes whilst maintaining the highest standards of interventional care.
