Dr Rao Suma Sathyanarayana is a Senior Consultant Infectious Diseases physician at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

​Dr Rao completed her basic medical training in Mysore, India. She further completed her Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases in USA. Her areas of clinical interests include general ID, HIV medicine, COVID-19, and travel medicine.

Apart from clinical work, Dr Rao is passionate about medical education, and she holds a position as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore.
