Dr Crystal Phuan is an Associate Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore.
She manages a wide range of skin conditions, with subspecialty interests in pigmentary disorders and acne. Her approach to care is thoughtful and evidence-based, with a focus on understanding each patient’s concerns and tailoring treatment plans to suit individual needs and lifestyles.
Recognising that many skin conditions can be chronic or fluctuate over time, Dr Phuan works closely with her patients through stepwise, practical management rather than a one-time fixed plan. This allows treatments to be adjusted along the way, helping patients achieve more sustainable, long-term control of their skin.
Dr Phuan is also actively involved in teaching and clinical discussions within her department and was awarded the NHG Teaching Award for Junior Doctors in 2024 in recognition of her dedication to education.
With a calm and attentive approach, Dr Phuan aims to provide patients with clear guidance, realistic treatment options, and the confidence to manage their skin health effectively.
