About

Adjunct A/Prof Oon Hwee Boon Hazel is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, with a strong clinical focus on chronic inflammatory and light-related skin conditions. She is the Chief of the Psoriasis Unit and Consultant-in-Charge of the Acne Clinic and is also actively involved in photodermatology services.

Her clinical practice centres on the management of psoriasis and acne, conditions that often require long-term care and careful adjustment of treatment over time. She sees patients across a wide range of disease severity, from early presentations to more complex cases requiring systemic therapies. Her approach places emphasis on achieving sustained disease control while supporting patients in understanding and managing their condition over the long term.

A/Prof Oon is also involved in photodermatology, where she contributes to the evaluation and management of patients with photosensitive disorders. This includes identifying triggers, advising on sun protection strategies, and tailoring treatment plans that fit patients’ lifestyles.

In addition to her clinical work, she is actively engaged in teaching and mentorship. She is a regular speaker at regional and international conferences, where she shares practical insights into the management of psoriasis, acne, and related conditions.
