Dr Lim Wen Phei is a Senior Consultant at the Institute of Mental Health, where she serves as Clinical Director of Continuing Education and Training. In this role, she is actively involved in clinical education and workforce development for healthcare professionals. She also holds the position of Vice Chair for NHG Health's Academic Clinical Programme in Mental Health. Dr Lim's clinical practice centres on general and consultation-liaison psychiatry, with a particular focus on psycho-oncology and palliative psychiatry which addresses the psychological aspects of cancer and life-limiting illnesses. 

She serves as Honorary Visiting Consultant to Dover Park Hospice, where she provides clinical expertise and training to cancer and palliative care teams. Beyond direct patient care, Dr Lim is a committed advocate for the psychological well-being of healthcare professionals. She has led the development of employee assistance programmes, and played a pivotal role in deploying critical incident support systems for healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Dr Lim was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship at the Department of Psychosocial Cancer Care, St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in 2019. She subsequently received the LKCMedicine Dean's Award for Education and the NHG Young Achiever Award in 2021.
