Adjunct A/Prof Chong Wei Sheng is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore. He is involved in both clinical practice and subspecialty services and is recognised for his steady approach in managing a wide range of dermatological conditions.

His clinical work includes involvement in inpatient dermatology, psoriasis and photodermatology services at NSC, where he contributes to the care of patients with complex and hospital-based skin conditions, difficult-to-treat psoriasis and its variants, as well as those requiring evaluation of light-related skin disorders. His work often involves managing patients with more challenging presentations that require close monitoring and coordinated care.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, A/Prof Chong works closely with colleagues across disciplines and contributes to departmental activities. He is also engaged in teaching and supports the training of junior doctors within the department.

He remains active in professional discussions and keeps up with developments in dermatology practice. His work reflects a practical and thoughtful approach to patient care, particularly in more complex clinical settings.

A/Prof Chong has received numerous awards recognising his contributions to clinical excellence, service quality, and medical education. These include the National Healthcare Group Quality Pillar Award and Excellence in Action Award (Phototherapy Team), reflecting his role in advancing patient care and service delivery. He has also been honoured with the National Skin Centre Service Champion Superstar Award for outstanding service, as well as the NHG Inter-Professional Teaching Excellence Award and Dermatology Senior Residents Best Clinical Tutor Award for his dedication to teaching and mentorship. In addition, he has received the NHG Key Talent Recognition Award and the NSC Long Service Award, underscoring his sustained contributions and leadership within the organisation.
