This one-day workshop will provide Occupational Therapists with an overview of Parkinson's Disease (PD), evidence-based management of PD and therapeutic strategies in the area of PD rehabilitation. At the end of this workshop, participants will: Understand PD as a movement disorder and its impact on the person and occupations. Apply therapeutic interventions and strategies to improve client’s cognitive wellness, home safety and handwriting.
