This is part of Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care (BASIC) course series. It is developed with the aim to provide participants with a basic understanding of transthoracic echocardiography. Our course consists of an electronic course manual for portable medias, an online pre-course multiple-choice questions (MCQs), interactive lectures, practical skills stations, and completion of a post-course MCQs. The electronic course manual can be downloaded as an “App" to conventional electronic media prior to the course.
