The Basic Dermatology Nursing Course for community care nurses seeks to empower nurses with essential knowledge and skills, as well as to provide safe and competent care to the residents.
 

Run Date

• Run 1: 14 April 2023 + 0.5 Day Practicum on 21 April 2023
• Run 2: 15 September 2023 + 0.5 Day Practicum on 29 September 2023
   

Entry Requirements

This course is targeted at nurses who meet any of the following criteria:

• Without prior knowledge and skills of dermatology nursing
• Require some form of refresher or re-assessment of clinical competency
• As part of their nursing scope in managing patients with skin condition under their care

Course Objectives

• Acquire knowledge and skills of dermatological nursing care
• Demonstrate competency in managing residents with mild to moderate common skin conditions​
