How do I know if I am suitable?
If you are struggling to lose weight on your own, or have medical conditions as a result of obesity, or would like to consider bariatric surgery, you may consult your General Practitioner or Polyclinic doctor to assess your suitability for referral.
Referral criteria for OMC:
- Aged 18 to 65 years old
- BMI ≥ 32.5kg/m2 with obesity-related complications OR
- BMI ≥ 37.5kg/m2 with and without obesity complications
