A urinary catheter that is inserted through a small cut made in the anteriorabdominal wall by the doctor. This catheter, which is inserted just above thepubic bone. A small balloon at the tip of the catheter is inflated to prevent itfrom falling out.The catheter will continuously drain urine from the bladder into urine bag,therefore there is no need to pass urine. Urine may occasionally leak throughthe urethra (the passage through which urine is normally passed out).
