Dr Victor Chong is a Consultant Cardiologist and the Founding Head of Service of the Non Invasive Cardiac Lab at Woodlands Health. He has a subspecialty interest in adult comprehensive echocardiography inclusive of Transthoracic, Transesophageal Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2009, and his Masters in Internal Medicine (Singapore) and Membership at the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2015. He subsequently obtained his Certificate of Specialist Accreditation in Cardiology in 2018 and obtained his Testamur Status in the Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography, under the National Board of Echocardiography in 2020. He is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the Chapter of Echocardiography, Singapore Cardiac Society. He was also awarded the HMDP Award in 2024 to further train in Echocardiography in the United Kingdom.

Apart from clinical duties, Dr Chong is also involved in clinical education of hospital allied health professionals, junior doctors and medical students. He currently serves as an appointed Clinical Lecturer for Yong Loo Ling School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and adjunct Clinical Teacher and Content Expert for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a physician faculty for the National Healthcare Group Cardiology Senior Residency Programme.
