Dr Venkataganesan practises radiology with special clinical interests in neuroradiology and body imaging (cardiothoracic imaging).

After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2013, he subsequently underwent radiology residency training with the National Healthcare Group and attained his postgraduate Masters of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) as well as Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists qualifications in 2020, in Singapore. He completed residency training and joined Woodlands Health in 2022.

Dr Venkataganesan speaks English, Tamil and French.
