Biodata
Dr Thet Khaing graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from University of Medicine II, Myanmar. He was subsequently conferred Membership of Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom). He completed the Internal Medicine Residency program, National University Health System (NUHS), Singapore in 2018 and Cardiology Senior Residency Program in the National University Heart Centre (NUHCS), Singapore in 2021.
His subspecialty interests are in coronary artery disease, ischemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease and interventional cardiology. He was also a member of the value driven outcome (VDO) project for the acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in 2018, which is the corner stone of the developing cost effective management for the STEMI patients.
Beside his clinical interests, he graduated from NUHS residency leadership development program in 2017. He was also a sub-committee member of education and procedure accreditation committee of the NUSH residency program from 2017 to 2018. He is an established medical educator and is presently appointed a Content Expert and Clinical Teacher (Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine) and Internal Examiner for 3rd Professional examination for MBBS (Young Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS).
