Dr Teresa Wong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University Singapore) in. She subsequently attained her specialist degree - Masters in Anaesthesia - from the National University of Singapore in, after which she joined the Anaesthesia department in Woodlands Health. In 2022-2023, Dr Wong was a Fellow in Perioperative Medicine at the University College London Hospital.

Dr Wong has an interest in medical informatics - she is a member of the national Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) team in Singapore and is the Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer for Woodlands Health. Her academic portfolio includes being a clinical tutor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Nanyang Technological University).

Dr Wong speaks English and Mandarin.
